Our Story

Drive Forward Academy was built on a simple belief - every driver deserves the confidence, knowledge, and real-world skills to stay safe on the road.

As the owner and one of the instructors, my journey started in the CDL training and testing industry, where safety and precision aren’t just important—they’re everything. Day after day, I worked with drivers who needed to be fully prepared for real-life situations, not just to pass a test. Over time, I realized that same level of training and attention should start much earlier - right from a driver’s very first experience behind the wheel.

That’s why I created Drive Forward Academy.

Here, we don’t just teach students how to pass their driving test - we teach them how to think, react, and stay confident in real-world driving situations. Whether it’s a teen driving for the first time or an adult looking to build confidence, we take the time to make sure every student feels supported, prepared, and safe.

As someone who understands the responsibility of teaching new drivers, I take safety personally. Every instructor on our team is carefully selected, fully trained, and thoroughly vetted through FBI and BCI background checks, interviews, and reference screenings. I make sure that anyone representing Drive Forward Academy shares the same values I started with - patience, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to each student’s success.

We treat every student like family, because we know that when someone gets behind the wheel, they’re not just responsible for themselves - but for everyone else on the road.
